May it please the court.
May it please the court.
A passion for appeals.
Correcting mistakes from a trial court ensures the fairness of our justice system. There is something special in that. As an appellate attorney, Attorney Taylor-Price is privileged to represent his clients before the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court where he has secured victories in cases ranging from medical malpractice to reversal of criminal convictions to dissolution of marriages.
While in law school, Attorney Taylor-Price was selected to serve as a legal research and writing tutor to his fellow classmates and underclassmen. He also secured a position on the school’s Order of the Barristers, the highest honor in the prestigious appellate advocacy competition. Likewise, Attorney Taylor-Price was recognized for his legal writing and research skills by being selected for a position on one of the school’s law reviews.
Appellate law continues to make up a significant portion of Attorney Taylor-Price’s practice, where he researches updates in case law, drafts briefs, and presents oral argument before the appellate courts. Here’s a sample of some of Attorney Taylor-Price’s victories:
